Live dates are up in support of my new album Major Over Minor. I will be hitting Guelph, Waterloo and Montreal”s Wanderlust festival all in August.
I will be facilitating a workshop on July 14th about engineering and producing with a home studio at the Tranzac. This is part of an all day women in engineering and production conference. If you are interested in attending please contact [email protected] for more info.

With the release of my latest CD Major Over Minor on May 7th. I wanted to let people experience my album in a unique and different way than most cd releases. Instead of putting people in a room late at night and play the album for them, I decided to offer an experience of the album where it is meant to experienced -out in the world.

Show up ANY TIME between 5-7 at the foot of Front street and Portland street (at the entrance to the yellow bridge.) You will be given a map and instructions. The walk will lead you toward the Old York Pub where you will be treated to free beer and a chance to hang out and celebrate the release of my new album Major Over Minor with live music by Morgan Doctor and Chris Gartner.
Kids, dogs, friends and family are all welcome.

I’m in the studio right now producing a band. The process of pre-production and getting the band ready for the studio has reminded me of the importance for a drummer to be prepared when going in to record. Recording is different now with the advent of digital recording and recording software. Yes there was a day when recording as a drummer meant you had to nail the whole track-start to finish. Drummers now have it easy with being able to cut and paste and move each hit, we don’t have to be the perfect drummers of the past. But, you want to be the perfect drummer going into the studio so all the cutting and pasting is’nt necessary and your playing shines through.
